The 2018 Amputation Prevention Symposium (AMP) meeting in Chicago (www.amptheclimeeting.com), the largest and most influential multidisciplinary meeting devoted to limb salvage among critical limb ischemia (CLI) patients, will feature live cases using the VasoStat Hemostasis Device following radial and transpedal access and intervention. “This year’s AMP will feature the first live radial-to-peripheral (R2P) case involving both radial artery and tibial-pedal approaches. We chose VasoStat for our complex R2P case to secure the access exit strategy. VasoStat is one device that can immediately secure hemostasis for both radial and tibial-pedal access”, commented Course Directors Dr. Jihad A. Mustapha and Dr. Fadi Saab of the CLI and Amputation Prevention Center. “We are thrilled to have the VasoStat considered part of the essential device armamentarium for physicians performing radial and transpedal access, and we are particularly excited that AMP’s Course Directors Drs. Mustapha and Saab have selected the VasoStat as their go-to hemostasis device for this purpose and for the training of endovascular physicians treating complex CLI patients”, commented Timothy Clark, MD, CEO of Forge Medical, Inc.
